Now, at the end of a surprisingly enjoyable week I've reentered my room focused to work and get my finals under control and what do I do but decide to dust this old thing off. Anyway, aside from winter clothes my room has the warming addition of a beautiful Danzig poster to my wall. Along those lines, last night's concert was fabulous, although I find Lacuna Coils choreography to be distasteful and mildly pretentious. On the other hand The Haunted surprised me, the had a better balance than most metal bands and from that the lines were more melodic than percussive. Despite not seeing Danzig...or Luke being thrown onto the stage (which I hope Matt and Nick managed), the concert filled a little gap for the heavier scene that Vermont so painfully lacks. Flights were good albeit long and sleep was unfulfilling, but so it goes.
On notes related to the future I have a positives: 1. I'm going to try and plan a reunion AP/Humanities party for Christmas and 2. I have the joyous happiness of being able to return three days earlier...Fuck Yeah! (Actually, I still need to change my tickets, but presuming the final is as previously discussed such is the case).
Overall, it was a fantastic and fantastically unproductive week...so now I'm back to Junior year...Iiii' hate my life, gotta hate my life...Sing it!
Oh, and hopefully I can get Settler to be played up here!
Almost forgot...in the madness of leaving the concert last night like clockwork I ended up in the smallest t-shirt I own.F-in' A.

Well, I did something I've never done before today...I blacked out. It's a strange feeling and it kinda pissed me off the way the Santiago's cramp did...it is a betrayal of the body. At least I didn't harm anything, I had felt nauseous slightly before and was holding onto the sink from where I believe I sorta squatted down and went out for a few minutes or maybe seconds. Fun!

Quite honestly, today has probably been the most relaxing day of my life since at the very least summer and at the very most my high school career.
Admittedly, I did feel significant anxiety for my scheduled procedure upon waking this morning, but after about 45 minutes of stoicism and dry humor I successfully passed out in the surgery room. I think we were talking about colleges. Later I woke up a little off balance but feeling no pain...nor the lower part of my face. Anyway, I stopped at the store, got some potatoes, drinks, and creamy desserts to stave off hunger, though later in the day I felt a definite need for salt...for some reason I had not had enough. So it goes.
Now for the relaxing part, it may be the percocet and remaining anesthesia, but mostly the lack of school and abundance of reading time have proved extraordinarily enjoyable. No offense to anybody, but it's kind of nice to leave yourself incommunicado for a day or more. I watched Lord of War. It made me realize that I'm not as terribly opposed to violence as I once was. Violence is natural format for expression of opinion and resolution of conflict and any self -respecting egaitarian must certainly recognize it so. In society today, we are beginning to develop something of an aristocracy of the intellectual (this doesn't particularly bother me), but it certainly leaves out the meatheads...though I'm fairly certain they do not notice. Anyway meatheads best communicate physically and intellectuals verbally, hence violence is frowned upon in our intellectually dominated society. Now, beyond equality we need to recognize that violence does carry meaning and power, while only certain forms of verbal discourse can be construed as action, all violence is action and normally of lucid intent. Action is of the highest value in any society because economically it encourages production necessary for survival. My conclusion is merely that violence should not be repressed in the way that it currently is. The flaw with this that I recognize is that it recognizes to distinct incompatible (on equal footing) classes of humans; to most people this assertion would seem offensive, but objectively certain people are more valuable than others. Enough with the rant. Yeah...I those ideas have been floating about for a while and they ring true, but alas they are oversimplified.
Not much else to say...hmmm my jaw might actually be getting sore now.

This is the first time I've touvhed this thing for a long time. Eh, my weekend will prove to be interesting with its scholarship interview, Justice essay, choice book, and lit analysis. Oh yeah...and half marathon.
Actually that's what I wanted to mention. Saguaro Cross Country boys have decided that for this year our uniform will be slitted purple short shots and cutoff t-shirts...it's gonna be hot...we promise to wear it again on tuesday.

Fuck, fuck, fuck. So yeah, I just wrote something and fucking deleted it on accident. Anyway, my family is pissing me off a little because they're all pretty freaking illogical and incompetent. To continue I'm pretty freaking tired again as some may have noticed and really need to sleep. Unfortunately, I'm going to Calc Camp where I will not only study Calc, but also my other AP subjects and work on that goddam research paper. I had really wanted to go swing dancing this weekend as I haven't in fair while...dammit.
Once I look past the shit though life is pretty good. The past few days have been enjoyable and I was able to actually go to my guitar lesson this week. As an added bonus I can run again and have only one more physical therapy appointment.
Adíos y temen de mí. Boo!

Back at Unitown one of the counselors told me that because my grandparents were Irish immigrants that I might be eligible for Irish dual citizenship. Let me list a few of the advantages of this: EU Citizenship, not being hated when traveling abroad, and being legitimately able to call myself Irish. Now this would be pretty freaking awesome. Apparently, I need to contact the Irish Embassy in San Fransisco, then send them two witnessed passport photos my Irish grandparents' birth certificates and my dad's birth certificate, and I have to ask them to add my name to the Foreign Birth Registry. Then I get an Irish passport in the mail. Unfortunately, I am not actually sure that my dad does not have to be on the register and if he has to be he wouldn't get on it. Even worse he won't let me so I am going to have to wait at least until next October and after I can mark dual-citizen on my college applications.
Now dance! Yes...alright, I am finally almost competent at lindy-hop and balboa! Joy! To celebrate this momentous accomplishment I think we should try and set up another let's-get-a-shit-load-of-people-to-go-dance night. It'll be even more fun...I promise. Who's with me?! ...and it cannot be this weekend. That happens to be because Luke is in town and we're, hopefully, going to hang out.
Also, I have a concert to go to, Phillip Glass and David Roumain...should be bitchin'. I'm pretty sore as I started running once again...and lastly I need to get my freaking research paper finished.
Well, feel free to yell at my grammar and writing style, and don't expect to write again soon.

I Am A: Chaotic Good Elf Ranger Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
Race: Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.
Primary Class: Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.
Secondary Class: Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.
Deity: Solonor Thelandria is the Chaotic Good elven god of archery and the hunt. He is also known as the Keen Eye, the Great Archer, and the Forest Hunter. His followers respect nature, and only hunt when needed, but are quick to defend the forest from intruders. Their favorite weapon is the bow, and they tend to be extremely talented with it. Solonor Thelandria's symbol is an arrow with green fletchings.

Anyway this really is the kind of character I enjoy playing...save the bard...bards suck. We really need to do this sometime...shit. We have the freaking research paper and God knows what else to do. I'm going to die... No really its about time I should start my cupones and finish that fucking class and write my book report. And at that my joy ceases. Grrrrr.

Tonight was utterly and completely fantastic; for the first time ever i success mobilized a troop of people for an activity. Though first, aside from tonight the rest of bot my week and day have been fairly enjoyable albeit, mildly stressful and painful(goddamn knee). I successfully managed to avoid track practice and have guilty aspirations of not participating, owned everyone in music theory, and started practicing my sight reading, piano, harmonica, and guitar. All of these fabulous instruments I can barely choke out melodies on yet somehow survive and maintain some determination. Oh yeah and I finished (save two projects) that fucking class (if you don't know i was screwed into taking first semester Am/AZ History on-line). Today, I completed my mundane spanish and math, and upon a whim was called to play laser tag, I haven't dine that in a good long while, but it was enjoyable regardless of our infinitesimal capacity for decision-making. After vacating the Disney Store, I returned home to quickly eat and prepare the behemoth that I hate driving for a large party. After stocking it with chips, guac, salsa, and soda, I hurried down to the rendezvous point to pick some cats up, which after leaving roughly 15 minutes late somehow managed to get on the road to our distant destination. Somehow we still managed to arrive on time for the lesson at Kat's Korner in the bowels of Mesa. We all attempted to learn East Coast Swing Dance, and succeeded save the finer points, and afterward spent the night dancing...and watching people dance...some of those guys were pretty freaking amazing. Anyway I've resolved that I'm going to seriously start to take up swing dancing, and who knows maybe ballroom dancing as a whole. It was pretty awesome, and I felt quite proud at making the dream come back to life, after I had failed several months ago. Yay, I actually wrote. Please critique my writing style, word choice, grammar, and whatever else you think of...I need to learn...fast.

Whee!
 You were Confucius!
Your life began in 551 B.C. in the Chinese village of Zou. You worked as a teacher until age 35, when you became advisor to the exiled Duke Zhou for a time. Later you became a magistrate and even the Grand Minister of Justice of Lu Province for a time. After a while, you took to wandering with your handful of disciples and unfortunately found that high-ranking nobles in many courts were plotting to have you killed. You continued, however, to speak on morality and honesty until you finally retired and spent your remaining days writing. You died at the age of 72.
Which Leader Were You in a Past Life? brought to you by Quizilla SO much better than doing my history. Anyway Confucius doesnt care about the bloody Americans!

A lot of people say, "What's that?" It's Pat! A lot of people ask, "Who's he? Or she?" A ma'am or a sir, accept him or her or whatever it might be. It's time for androgyny. Here comes Pat!
